MNM Belgium partners with ReelWorld
On January 5th 2009, Radio Donna was re-launched as MNM. ReelWorld Europe produced the huge jingle package for VRT’s new flagship station.
Focusing on younger music than Donna, MNM will play hot hits, re-currents and nineties classics. The station wanted to introduce a completely different and fresh sound in Belgium, with imaging to match, so ReelWorld ONE CHR was the obvious choice!
Monthly updates
ReelWorld ONE CHR is a groundbreaking new jingle service featuring jingles, production elements, and more. MNM will receive monthly updates designed to maintain a constantly fresh and innovative on-air sound for the station. The station ordered the entire ReelWorld ONE CHR catalogue, consisting of over 40 basic cuts and hundreds of mix-outs.

“It’s not only our greatest assignment to date, but it was also one of the most fun projects”, Thomas Giger, Sales Manager at ReelWorld Europe explains. “MNM wanted the powerful vocals associated with the sound of ReelWorld’s American singers, but with a Flemish touch… so we flew to Nashville with native Belgian singers. Together with ReelWorlds own vocal group, we recorded the vocals in this legendary city. And we had a big time doing it!”

ReelWorld Europe not only delivered the complete jingle package for MNM – the company also provided its expertise in the start-up of the station. The jocks and producers got trained in using the jingles, and also on specific disciplines like copy writing, and promo production. ReelWorld Europe will continue to assist with the station’s on-air imaging for the next months.
