Magic Radio unveil new station sound with Wisebuddah Jingles
UK National Network Magic Radio has launched a brand new, Wisebuddah Jingles custom ID package. Comprising ten new custom suites across Breakfast, Daytime and Evening, along with brand new information elements, the package also sees a brand new sonic logo created for the station.
Featuring live orchestral sections, arranged by Cliff Masterson (Little Mix, Emeli Sandé, Kylie Minogue), the new sound continues Magic’s partnership with Wisebuddah, who also produced the previous package for the Bauer station.

Featuring a host of live instruments, played by some of the country’s top musicians and a blend of great vocal talent, it’s been a hugely creative and collaborative project from the start with Tony, Dan and the team at Magic”
Tony Moorey, Content Director for Magic, added: “We were looking for something different for a completely updated radio station – a new breakfast show presented by Harriet Scott and Ronan Keating coming soon, more songs from the 80s and 90s – and we wanted to get the message across.
This package is just the start of a new sound for Magic, and we worked really closely with the guys at Wisebuddah to get something that sounded fresh and exciting. We wanted jingles that sounded like the music we play, without apeing them – plus a distinctive sonic logo that reflects our new message, “More of the Songs You Love”. We set a big challenge – and we were really blown away with the ideas and the final delivery.
Plus with numerous musicians, four singers and input from the whole team at Magic, Wisebuddah did a great job of managing the whole process too.”
