Rebranding with the new tagline “Where The 90s Live”, XFM took delivery of the complete Cool FM jingle package, plus also a large package of sweepers from Ignite’s sister company Devaweb.

With the introduction of the PURE JingleBox a couple of years back, PURE Jingles has taken the concept of customizable resing package (yes, you read that right) to a different level.

Customizable resings? A funny concept at a first glance. But once PURE explained the idea to customers (such as France’s RTL 2) many were eager to jump on board. Minster FM took delivery of a twelve-cut package, created from a number of different packages but remixed to incorporate Minster FM’s heritage musical logo.

At FM104 we sought out to find a jingle package which was different from what we had before and also to find a package which stood out in comparison to what is currently on air in the Dublin radio market. We decided on this IQ Beats package as it sounds fresh and powerful while also carrying a retro feel. The jingles work great with the music we play on FM104 and really jump out of the speakers, particularly at the top of hour.

Working with IQ Beats was a pleasure. We had many requests and tweaks throughout the recordings but you made sure we were happy with everything and it sounded just right.

Before the new package went on the air, Q102 aired a resing of the original Heart package from IQ Beats for just over 4 years.

Dublin’S hit music station, FM104, began airing a resing of IQ Beats’ 2009 Capital FM package earlier this week. Audio soon.

The authentic vintage cuts were produced to be part of Tony’s ‘Pick of the Pops’ programme which transports listeners back in time to a golden era whilst playing some real classics.

After airing Kissville since 2008, they changed to the full Viking FM package.

The package perfectly fits the music that is played on Werrepark Radio. The package has a very clear logo and lots of different mix outs. Each theme has a ramp, slogan, ID and shotgun mixes. And on top of that al the ramp jingles come with extra acoustic versions and lots of mix outs.

All jingles have been edited and remixed especially for Radio 8FM so that the original Radio 8FM logo is maintained. It is a very extensive package; not only because of the large number of tracks; but above all also because of the number of singers.

To sing this package TM Europe invited a total of 7 male and female singers in the studio. One of the voices is Jodie Kean. She recently scored a hit with the song ‘Mad World’.

Over the past year the EZ Rock package has also been re-sung across the world – with territories including Canada, Germany, Austria, Thailand and Hungary.

The package was sung in Budapest using a team of Hungarian session singers and then post produced at Wise Buddah’s London studios. The combination of the Hungarian singers and Buddah’s post-production process worked really well for what is potentially a complicated language to re-sing, Peter Sivak is Neo FM’s Director of Programming.

TM worked with Fresh Air Studios, who were overseeing the branding of Radio Plymouth. Paul Philpott, Managing Director at Fresh Air, said:

Radio Plymouth are the third UK station to air the Channel 4 Hot AC package, following in the footsteps of Bay Radio in Swansea, and Bolton FM. Originally recorded for Channel 4 in Dubai, the package is also on air in the USA and Japan.

13 years later, Bill Stedman is now at WMXJ – Majic 102.7 in Miami. He came back to TM with a challenge… to take Overture, and make it even better. So that’s exactly what we did! Introducing… Overture, Remastered!

Led by chief engineer Dave Giangiulio, The TM Studios team stripped the package down and cleaned up the original tracks, then built it back up again, adding new instrumentation and new vocals. Many hours later, the package was complete, and Bill Stedman loves it:

In addition to a new package of jingles for January 2010, the team at Wave 105 also wanted to add some extra sparkle to the station’s ‘Golden Hour’ which plays a major role in the stations output running weekdays at 9am and 7pm (plus 9am weekend mornings).

This project gave Music 4 a perfect opportunity to delve into their archives where they rediscovered a package of jingles originally created for Capital Gold way back in May 2002. The tracks still sound great and are perfect for this project.

The package required a slightly softer and more AC sound than the custom packages for BRMB and Mercia, and so to match that, Wise Buddah were asked to provide one 80s Duran Duran-esque cut and one 90s dance cut.

The package has just gone on-air along with Wise Buddah’s packages for four other Orion Media stations, as part of a revamp of the stations. Beacon is also using the “Made For Shropshire” message to reinforce its local credentials.
