After airing Kissville since 2008, they changed to the full Viking FM package.

The package perfectly fits the music that is played on Werrepark Radio. The package has a very clear logo and lots of different mix outs. Each theme has a ramp, slogan, ID and shotgun mixes. And on top of that al the ramp jingles come with extra acoustic versions and lots of mix outs.

All jingles have been edited and remixed especially for Radio 8FM so that the original Radio 8FM logo is maintained. It is a very extensive package; not only because of the large number of tracks; but above all also because of the number of singers.

To sing this package TM Europe invited a total of 7 male and female singers in the studio. One of the voices is Jodie Kean. She recently scored a hit with the song ‘Mad World’.

The package was sung in Budapest using a team of Hungarian session singers and then post produced at Wise Buddah’s London studios. The combination of the Hungarian singers and Buddah’s post-production process worked really well for what is potentially a complicated language to re-sing, Peter Sivak is Neo FM’s Director of Programming.

Radio Plymouth are the third UK station to air the Channel 4 Hot AC package, following in the footsteps of Bay Radio in Swansea, and Bolton FM. Originally recorded for Channel 4 in Dubai, the package is also on air in the USA and Japan.

In addition to a new package of jingles for January 2010, the team at Wave 105 also wanted to add some extra sparkle to the station’s ‘Golden Hour’ which plays a major role in the stations output running weekdays at 9am and 7pm (plus 9am weekend mornings).

This project gave Music 4 a perfect opportunity to delve into their archives where they rediscovered a package of jingles originally created for Capital Gold way back in May 2002. The tracks still sound great and are perfect for this project.

The package required a slightly softer and more AC sound than the custom packages for BRMB and Mercia, and so to match that, Wise Buddah were asked to provide one 80s Duran Duran-esque cut and one 90s dance cut.

The package has just gone on-air along with Wise Buddah’s packages for four other Orion Media stations, as part of a revamp of the stations. Beacon is also using the “Made For Shropshire” message to reinforce its local credentials.

88.6 Wien, Austria

Austria’s number one radio station ‘88.6’ came back to TM Europe for an update of their existing jingle package. And yes Jack Pack again. This eccentric package was extended with new tracks. The slogan “Wir spielen was wir wollen!” is now on air in even more new different versions.

to record this message in their new jingles.
The Kingdom FM package is the basis for this new imaging. It is a package with eight strong themes and dozens of mixes together with a whole pile of production beds and logo stingers.

Magic Jazz, The Netherlands

“Always jazz only”: the slogan of Magic Jazz. The format Magic Jazz uses,
provides a wide mix of different styles within jazz music. The jingle package that perfectly matches this, is Smooth R&B: smooth, soft and warm. Therefore TM Europe resung the jingles with jazzy singers.

Over the past five years Music 4 have produced hundreds of jingles and beds for the show including the legendary ‘opening song’ which launched Chris onto the Radio 1 Breakfast Show in January 2004.

They remain pretty certain that the ‘opening song’ is the longest ‘jingle’ ever to be actually broadcast in full on the radio and to celebrate Chris’s record breaking show the whole thing was played again (with a few changes here and there).

This means that The Bee jingle package is now on 4 stations in Northwest England, and has featured on over a dozen stations across the UK since it was first sung in 2005. BBC Wiltshire wanted to freshen the sound of their imaging and decided upon a combination of custom cuts to sit alongside a selection of remixed and resung cuts from the S2blue BBC Essex package.

The group and solo vocals were recorded in London and featured Tommy Blaze, who has recently been part of BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing vocal team. Check out photos from the session below.

The original BBC Essex package featured an extensive string section which gave it a warm feel and the remixes of these cuts refreshed the overall sound.

The EZ Rock package has also been resung for K-Lite in Hamilton as well as the EZ-Rock network in Niagra, Edmonton, London and Kelownas.

The set of eight jingles are now being used to image the show, which is distributed to stations in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. As well as shotguns to get out of commercials and back into the show, there’s extended hour opener beds and theme songs.
