Top rated station Radio 1 in Hungary was clever enough to realize that the now package of 2010 and beyond is Play Jingles. The station purchased the Play package and they already took an option on the Play update service for their future needs. Of course, a lovely Hungarian singer was invited to sing all the cuts.

Freeze II

Omrop Fryslan is the regional broadcasting station of the province Fryslan. Omrop Fryslan creates radio- and television programmes in the Frisian language, which makes the broadcasting station the only one in the Netherlands that does not broadcast in Dutch.

Omrop Fryslan Television airs a custom made audio imaging already since 2009. Now, new elements were needed to covey the further developments at the regional public broadcaster. The update for Omrop Fryslan Television exists from renewed music tracks for the daily news program ‘Hjoed’ plus newly composed tracks that go together hand in hand, with the general idents.

Radio Plymouth launches with TM jingles

The UK’s newest FM radio station, Radio Plymouth, launched on Sunday 28th February, and TM Studios was delighted to supply the jingle package. The station chose TM’s “Channel 4 Hot AC” jingle package, with a range of alternate sings, and custom mixes of the news and traffic beds.

TM worked with Fresh Air Studios, who were overseeing the branding of Radio Plymouth. Paul Philpott, Managing Director at Fresh Air, said:

“As an audio branding consultancy, Fresh Air Studios was contracted to co-ordinate the Radio Plymouth jingle package – consisting of a range of sung jingles, ‘spoken’ idents using the station voices (Ruth Langsford and Jon Iles) and sonic logos (which would be based on the pattern the sung vocals created). We needed to work with a company with a proven track record in sung station branding, and TM were the perfect partners! They were a pleasure to work with. Further to the standard package, TM provided us with an impressive set of elements, sub-mixes and alternative vocal tracks, enabling us to expand and create an extremely extensive package.”

Radio Plymouth are the third UK station to air the Channel 4 Hot AC package, following in the footsteps of Bay Radio in Swansea, and Bolton FM. Originally recorded for Channel 4 in Dubai, the package is also on air in the USA and Japan.

Wise Buddah is proud to announce that it is continuing to produce jingles for ‘The Chris Evans Breakfast Show’ on BBC Radio 2, following his much-publicised move to the breakfast slot following the retirement of Sir Terry Wogan.

The package is a combination of new compositions and re-sings of three jingles previously produced for ‘The Chris Evans Drive-Time Show’.

Wise Buddah continuing relationship with one of the stations biggest shows comes as part of the ever-growing relationship between Wise Buddah and Radio 2.

Over the past four years, Wise Buddah have been commissioned to produce new imaging for most of the new BBC Radio 2 roster as and when they come to the station.

New S2Blue Sound on Kiss FM

Since Simon Prentice took over as Managing Director of S2Blue last January he has been working closely with composers to create a new, fresh sound.

The first of the packages with this ‘new sound’ was produced just before Christmas for Kiss FM in Portugal. It’s quite an edgy, beat driven package with solos and 2 part harmonies. The vocalists were Kim Chandler & Lee Turner. This package is now available to be resung in all countries outside Portugal.
