Radio X gets FX from Contraband Media

London based production company Contraband Media has provided Radio X with a collection of custom Imaging FX for the launch of the new station.

The package has been produced by the team at Contraband Media & Imaging Blueprint, who have created audio for likes of iHeartMedia, Disney, KIIS Australia, Virgin Radio International, NRJ and bigFM Germany.

Adam Burgess, Contraband Media Company Director told new site, RadioToday.co.uk, “Dan Riedo’s name flashed up on my iPhone…I really didn’t want to pick up, but I figured I should at least humour him.

“After a brief chat and some studio time, the end result was some wooshes and bangs he could use for his station imaging”.

Head of Radio X Production, Dan Riedo: “If Adam wasn’t responsible for some of the best sound design on the planet, I’d have little reason to maintain any form of relationship with him.”

Adam Burgess, Contraband Media Company Director add: “In all seriousness, it was a fantastic privilege to be asked to contribute to the many sounds that make up Radio X. I know the team there have done a fantastic job with the Imaging of the station, it’s now the number 1 preset on my DAB radio”!
