Wise Buddah helps rebrand Canadian Trio

Following the launch last year of Virgin Toronto, three more Astral Media stations have now flipped to the Virgin format, with Wise Buddah providing the jingles and sweepers.

The Bear 106.9, Ottawa becomes Virgin Radio 1069, 95 Crave Vancouver becomes Virgin Radio 953 and Mix 96 in Montreal becomes Virgin Radio 96.

Wise Buddah produced a range of jingles and sweepers tailor made for each market including 12 main themes, news suites and Breakfast Imaging.

The jingles were re sings from a mix of Wise Buddah’s packages including 94.9 BRMB, Viking FM and the Buddah’s rock package for Virgin Italy.

The sweepers featured a range of voice talent from both sides of the pond including Wise Buddah’s very own Kelly Anne Smith, Ollie Smith and Rob Gill along with Astral favourites and Steve Stone and Maura Grierson.
