Classic PAMS jingles recorded for Radio 2

S2blue have recently resung some classic PAMS jingles for Radio 2’s Pirate Johnnie Walker show.

The nostalgia show takes listeners back to the golden era of pirate radio, when the PAMS jingles were originally produced for Radio London & Swinging Radio England.

Steve England, Executive Producer at S2blue and the engineer for the session, said ‘The PAMS cuts have a special sound that gives the show an authentic feel. They are the true sound of 60’s and 70’s pirate radio – the classic jingles!’

Watch the jingle singers in action below.

Does anyone know are the Wise Buddah jingles in use too?

Ho sempre desiderato di essere qualcuno ma molto probabilmente avrei dovuto essere più specifico…questi di Johnnie Walker fanno semplicemente paura, troppo avanti.
Complimenti per il sito vecchio amico Loris.

How many jingles does a programme thats only on for 8 weeks need??? Is it a hint that Radio 2 are planning on bringing it back at some point in the future?

And yes, I have heard the Wise Buddah jingles for Pirate Johnnie Walker in use.
