Two Gold’s, One Silver for Wise Buddah at New York Festivals!
Having recently won a SONY Gold for their station sound package for BBC Radio 2, Wise Buddah Jingles & Music Imaging have now added a further three trophies to their collection.
The London based music and imaging company won in the following categories:
Best Sound – Gold
Program ID – Gold
Station ID – Silver
The BBC Radio 2 station sound package which went on air in July 2012 featured over 100 musicians including the BBC Concert Orchestra and a 17 piece jazz and big band – both arranged and conducted by Cliff Masterson, blues legend Paul Jones on harmonica, Huey Morgan and Robbie Mackintosh on guitar and Craig Blundell on drums.
Vocals were provided by the likes of Beverley Knight, Clare Teal and the legendary award-winning London Community Gospel Choir.
The judges said of the entry: “Among the qualities recognised by members of the jury were the high quality sound and the great range of styles exhibited by Wise Buddah Jingles & Music Imaging for BBC Radio 2. Their entry displayied excellence in every way as reflected by the two Gold Trophies earned for Best Sound and Program ID, as well as the Silver for Station ID.” Rose Anderson, Executive Director, New York Festivals International Radio Programs & Promos Awards.
