Jingle Singer Auditions
IQBeats posted this on their blog yesterday…
Any reputable jingle production company can never have enough vocal talent, so we have been holding open auditions at the studio all week. If you know of any viable candidates, please send them our way (your granny, 12 year old cousin, etc.). Here is a clip of the most promising prospect thus far.

Hi, I’d like to know where you hold your auditions???

I am a writer in Nashville Tn and not a member of the songwriter association so when I heard about the casting for a new CBS Show being produced by Mark Burnett called Jingles I decided to go audition.
When I emailed Jonathon from the show, he told me that I would not be in line over 45 minutes if I got there real early. My partner and I arrived there very early and there was already a long line but knowing that he assured me that there were 3-4 audition rooms I felt I would not be in lone long. When the doors opened they started taking members of the Songwriters Association FIRST and then made the rest of us wait in line for 3-5 hours! This was a HORRIBLE Discrimination! To top it all off after we got in there, they DID NOT have 3-4 auditioning rooms but only ONE, and my partner and I were told to lie IF we got in the show so that others would stay in line and not leave! Then we were told that they were telling all of the ones that did not get in that they would call them the next day. We were told they would call us the next day of course they never called. This is HORRIBLE Disgrace for Mark Burnett Productions to treat people in this manner. It is obvious that IF you are not a member of the songwriter association YOU HAVE NO CHANCE to get in.
This is a ploy because of the writer’s strike I believe! I also called CBS and even though it is ON the CBS site, CBS said that they were NOT FOR SURE going to air it!
