fi FM Portugal from SOB

From SOB Audio Imaging:

How do you determine the sound for a station that has a truly unique identity and a unique format? Fi FM is a new station in Lisbon, Portugal, that combines a “feel good” attitude with a clear determination to helping listeners develop themselves and to creating a better world. The music is also an interesting mix of carefully selected cross-format songs from artists like Cyndi Lauper, Diana Krall, Jason Mraz, Madonna, Supertramp, Mariah Carey, Frank Sinatra and Queen, to name but a few. Quite an interesting format, right?

The key of course here is research and extensive communication. The challenge was to create a custom jingle package that would reflect the station’s unique identity and connect the songs from its very specific, but also very broad playlist. After a few experiments we decided to give this package a sound that would be as exceptional as the station itself: mainly acoustical with solo vocals only. The result: a very intimate package with an exclusive sound that clearly sets the station apart from the competition. An out-of-the-box solution for a station that dares to be different. Don’t we all wish we had more stations like this?
