Cork’s 96fm gets momentum with new jingles

As a new presenter line up launches on Cork’s 96fm, the Irish station has unveiled a fresh new sound thanks to the team at ReelWorld.

The Cork City and County station, which reaches 115,000 listeners, has become the first European brand to receive a re-sing of ReelWorld’s CHR package for B96 in Chicago.

The jingles feature music that sounds like the artists on the station’s playlist, with vocalists of the same standard, without being sound-a-like.

It’s been designed to be the ultimate package to allow smooth transitions from one song to another meaning you never need to stop the music, hence the ‘momentum’ nickname.

Brendan O Driscoll, Production Director at Cork’s 96fm: ‘ReelWorld have definitely raised the jingle bar! We’re absolutely thrilled with the new package. Every theme works seamlessly with today’s biggest hits and the production values are simply outstanding. Love your work!’

Kieran McGeary, is the CEO and Programme Director at Cork’s 96fm: ‘Working with Reelworld was an easy and straightforward experience. We’re delighted with the results which have really transformed the sound of our station. It’s not often you come across a jingles package that blends so seamlessly with the songs you play and this one does.’

Paul Fernley is Reelworld’s Client Relation Manager for Northern Europe: ‘When this package was finished, I couldn’t wait to hear it on air. The end result is awesome. It’s great hear the B96 jingles make their European debut!’
